AI menu images: RoxPos creates a product or category image from its name, or enhances your photo to look like a studio shot; you see it before saving.
While editing a product or category, you press "Create with AI" next to the image field. The image is prepared from the name; if you like, you add a short description such as the portion, garnish or plate. A category image shows typical items of that category.
Yes. With "Enhance photo" you choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo (up to 5 MB); in the mobile app you can also take one with the camera right away. The same item is kept; lighting, sharpness and background are improved. You see the original and the enhanced version side by side.
Image creation and enhancement work with AI credits: each attempt uses 1 credit, and creating again if you don't like the result uses another. Credits come in a 100-credit package, never expire and are shared with invoice reading; if no image is produced, the credit is returned.
The AI options appear only in companies that have bought credits; in a business that doesn't use them they take up no space. Users with permission to edit product settings can use them. Credits are bought in the panel under Settings ▸ Licences.
Yes. When you choose "Use this image", it is saved as the product or category image just like a photo you uploaded, and it is shown in the QR menu too. A result you don't use is not saved anywhere.
