inPOS Integration Setup

With the inPOS fiscal POS integration in RoxPos, you can link collection, payment and receipt flows to your checks and manage them in a single operation.

inPOS Integration Setup

Download RoxOKCinPos

⚠️ This program is only for the wired (GMP3) connection; it is not needed for wireless (TSM). Extract the zip to a permanent folder on the local disk (e.g. C:\RoxOKCinPos) and open BENIOKU.txt first: step-by-step setup is in KILAVUZ.txt and FAQs in SSS.txt (in Turkish). If "Windows protected your PC" appears, the file is not harmful: choose "More info → Run anyway".

Connection Types

Wireless (TSM)

How it connects
The cashier sends the bill with 'Send to POS' in RoxPos; the inPOS device pulls it from RoxPos itself through inPOS TSM and shows it in its list. A table opened on the device is locked.
Local program
Not needed.
Panel setting
Settings ▸ POS Integration ▸ inPOS: connection type 'Wireless (TSM)', Terminal Code, device serial no.; optional 'Payment type required'. Your company profile decides test or live.
Payment type
Optional (setting off by default): cash, meal card or bank transfer go as paid; with card or no type the device takes the payment.
Table / Quick Sale receipt
Sent from the table and Quick Sale with 'Send to POS'; the payment plus the receipt no., Z no. and EKÜ no. are written to RoxPos; the table does not close by itself.
Online order receipt
No automatic receipt. A receipt sent from the order details with 'Send to POS (Receipt)' lands in the device's list as a virtual bill; the cashier picks it on the device and closes it as cash.
Invoice information slip / receipt limit
A customer with a tax ID (VKN / TCKN), the document type (e-Archive / e-Invoice / Invoice information slip) and the document no. go to the device; at the receipt limit the device can change the document on its own screen. RoxPos does not enforce a limit.

Wired (GMP3)

How it connects
The direction is the reverse of Ingenico: the RoxOKCinPos program listens on the till PC (port 59000) and the inPOS device connects TO THE PC. The program takes the job from RoxPos and prints the receipt on the device.
Local program
RoxOKCinPos (Windows 10 / 11, 32-bit program; Visual C++ 2010 x86 + 2013 x86); the till PC and the program must be running.
Download and setup →
Panel setting
Connection type 'Wired (GMP3)', device serial no., the TILL PC's IP (not the device's) + port 59000; the device is paired with this address once.
Payment type
Required; choose a type linked to the fiscal device (cash, card or meal card).
Table / Quick Sale receipt
Sent from the table and Quick Sale. If the program is closed the job waits and prints when the program connects.
Online order receipt
Manual and automatic. The job enters the till program's queue and the program prints it when no table job is waiting; the till PC and the program must be running.
Invoice information slip / receipt limit
Above the device's receipt limit, a customer with a tax ID (VKN / TCKN), a document type and a document no. (max. 16 characters) are required; RoxPos does not send without them. Below the limit an information slip can be chosen too.

Why Use It?

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a bill reach the inPOS device over wireless (TSM)?

The cashier sends the bill with 'Send to POS' in RoxPos; the inPOS device pulls the sent bills from RoxPos itself through inPOS TSM and shows them in its list. Once the order is opened on the device, the table is locked and drops off the other devices' lists. When the payment is taken and the receipt issued, the payment plus the receipt no., Z no. and EKÜ no. are written to RoxPos; the table does not close by itself, the cashier closes it (or the table screen does, if the auto-close setting is on). If the device cancels, the order returns to the list; if the same receipt arrives twice, the payment is not written again.

How does the wired (GMP3) connection work?

The device is paired once with the Windows PC at the till using inPOS's GMP3 pairing program (the PC's IP address and port). The RoxPos inPOS till program on that PC prints the receipt on the device over the cable. The payment type is chosen in RoxPos and is required (cash, card or meal card); the receipt is issued with that type and the receipt no., Z no. and EKÜ no. are written to RoxPos. In the panel, under Settings ▸ POS Integration ▸ inPOS, set the connection type to Wired (GMP3) and enter the device's serial number plus the till PC's IP address and port.

Is the payment type chosen on the device or in RoxPos?

It depends on the connection. On wireless (TSM) either works: if you choose cash, a meal card (Multinet, Sodexo, Setcard, MetropolCard, Edenred, TokenFlex, Paycell, iWallet) or bank transfer in RoxPos, the device issues the receipt with that type and the amount counts as paid; if you choose card or no type, the device takes the payment. To block sending without a type, turn on the terminal's optional 'Payment type required' setting. On wired (GMP3) the payment type is chosen in RoxPos and is required.

How is inPOS set up, and how are test and live separated?

In the panel, under Settings ▸ POS Integration ▸ inPOS, choose the connection type (Wireless TSM or Wired GMP3) and define the terminal with the device's serial number; for wired, also enter the till PC's IP address and port. On wireless (TSM), your company profile decides whether the test or live environment is used; the address is the same, so there is nothing extra to set.

How are online order receipts issued with inPOS?

It depends on the connection. On wired (GMP3), the till program prints the online order receipt; if 'Auto-send to POS (Receipt)' is on in the online order automation, the receipt is issued automatically on the device you chose. On wireless (TSM) there is no automatic receipt: for orders from platforms such as Yemeksepeti and Getir you send the receipt from the order details with 'Send to POS (Receipt)'; it lands in the device's list and the cashier picks it on the device and issues it.

Where do I download the till program for the wired (GMP3) connection?

The till program is called RoxOKCinPos; download it as a zip from the Support ▸ Wired inPOS (GMP3) page. Requirements, pairing, the panel setting and FAQs are on that page and in KILAVUZ.txt / SSS.txt inside the zip. The program is only needed for the wired connection; nothing is installed at the till for wireless (TSM).

Is an additional device required for the inPOS integration?

Your existing inPOS device is enough. RoxPos runs in the cloud; the activation steps are completed together with our support team.

Are collections reflected in the reports?

Yes. Payment and collection records are reflected in the reports by channel; you see turnover and payment breakdown from a single panel.

Can I use it in multiple branches?

Yes. You can define a separate device for each branch, manage all branches from a single account and get comparative reports.
